The Ministry of Agriculture of the Amur Region will provide compensation for the purchase of animal feed to Amur residents whose livestock suffered from the flood. The maximum amount is 7.1 thousand rubles per head, the press service of the regional government said on Monday.

"Amur residents affected by the flood will receive compensation for the purchase of animal feed. Support will be provided to people whose household plots were completely flooded, as well as to agricultural producers who have lost their crops," the report says.

Material assistance will be provided per head: for cattle - 7.1 thousand rubles, for horses - 5.8 thousand rubles, for small cattle - 1.4 thousand rubles, for rabbits - 600 rubles, for pigs - 4, 1 thousand rubles, poultry - 180 rubles.

Due to the summer flood in the Amur region, 975 residential buildings were flooded, in which 2.5 thousand people live, 2 thousand household plots. In total, 32 settlements of 11 municipalities fell into the flood zone, the number of the affected population is more than 7 thousand people. According to preliminary estimates, the damage from the flood is 6 billion rubles.
