The number of pigs increased by 1.5 times in the Nizhny Novgorod region

The production of MEAT and poultry in live weight increased by 20% compared to January 2022 and amounted to 12.8 thousand tons. In its structure, 47% falls on poultry, 41% on pigs. Another 12% is cattle.
 
MILK production increased by 5% to 46.8 thousand tons.
