The number of cattle in the farms of the Volgograd region in 2020 amounted to 342 thousand heads, which is 7.5% more than in 2019

At the same time, in farms of all forms of ownership, an increase in MEAT production was registered last year: up to 26.4 thousand tons (an increase of 10%) for sheep and goat meat; up to 56.2 thousand tons (an increase of 7.8%) for pig meat and 72 thousand tons were the volumes of cattle meat production.
