As of January 1 , 2024 , the farms of the organized sector of the Turkovsky district have 665 heads of cattle (143% of the corresponding period in 2023), including 393 heads of cows (205.8%), as well as 1,609 heads of sheep and goats (101 .3%).
Speaking about the results of the livestock industry, the Deputy Minister noted the successful and dynamic development of landmark projects for the region. In livestock farming, this is a number of investment projects of Agros LLC, such as the construction of a robotic dairy farm for 1060 heads of cows, the construction of a sheep farm for 4000 heads of sheep and the construction of a workshop for the production of finished dairy products and cheeses.
“The enterprise’s projects can become an example for livestock farmers in other regions of the region,” noted Alexey Molchanov, emphasizing the need to pay attention to various sectors of livestock farming, primarily the implementation of new projects in dairy cattle breeding and poultry farming. According to him, these can be both enterprises and family farms - all are provided with state support measures.
Let us recall that by decision of the regional governor Roman Busargin, with the support of the deputy corps, additional funds in the amount of 80 million rubles were allocated from the regional budget for the development of dairy cattle breeding and broiler poultry farming in the region.
