The Moscow region has great potential for expanding the supply of agro-industrial complex to foreign markets, the regional Ministry of Agriculture believes. At the same time, CHINA remains the main sales market . In the message of the Ministry of Agriculture, which was reviewed by sfera.fm, representatives of the department report that they plan to attract Chinese investors to the region to expand the supply of agricultural products to China.
One of the possible growth items is the EXPORT of semi-finished vegetable oils in special flexible tanks, primarily rapeseed and soy products. The department reports that in order to increase exports, they expect to attract investments from Chinese partners and build another complex for processing oilseeds. In addition, Chinese investments can be attracted to the expansion of MEAT processing plants, in order to then export semi-finished meat products to China.
Export of agricultural products to China is a promising direction, experts say. In 2022, the export of these products from RUSSIA to China increased by 44%, according to Agroexport. Exports of rapeseed oil have doubled, and 70% of all exports of this product now fall to China.
