Supporting Buryatia's agro-industrial complex: sustainable growth in challenging weather conditions

Total funding for the agricultural sector this year exceeded 1 billion rubles, 35 million more than the previous year. The budget allocated 1.058 billion rubles for subsidies and grants for agricultural producers. Part of the funds were used to upgrade agricultural machinery.

One successful example of using state support is the agricultural enterprise Rubin LLC, which has become one of the best in Buryatia. Under the leadership of Alexander Nikonov, Rubin achieved outstanding results in milk yield and growth. In 2025, the company became one of 74 enterprises to receive funding for technical and technological modernization.

The program included the purchase of modern equipment, including grain harvesters and navigation equipment. The company's success resulted in milk yields of 1,424.5 tons and meat yields of 305.3 tons, as well as increased growth rates for both milk and meat production.

The compensation program allocated funds for the purchase of 25 Holstein heifers and three Hereford bulls, totaling 2.4 million rubles. Alexander Nikonov emphasizes that agriculture is not just a job , but a way of life, and government support facilitates the industry's development and the introduction of new technologies.
