Pedigree poultry farm "Voyskovitsy" opened near St. Petersburg

The new site belongs to the largest broiler MEAT producer in the region, Severnaya Poultry Farm JSC (part of the Thai agro-industrial holding Charoen Pokphand Foods). it will house the parent flock to produce 44.4 million hatching eggs per year. The amount of CPF investment in this facility is estimated at 2.6 billion rubles.
Last week, more than 53 thousand chickens were delivered to the enterprise: about 47 thousand females and 6.3 thousand males. The young animals were examined by veterinarians. Each chick was sampled for highly pathogenic influenza. Now they are in quarantine. Within six months, the factory will produce up to 2 million eggs per week. The enterprise will create 125 new jobs.
