A broiler reproducer will be built near Nizhny Novgorod, and a poultry cluster in the Altai Territory

Not far from Nizhny Novgorod, Lindulovskaya Poultry Farm will build a first- and second-order reproducer from scratch, which will produce grandparental and parental flocks of MEAT breeds of chickens. And in the Altai Territory, the Cherkizovo group intends to build a poultry cluster.

Broiler reproducers near Nizhny Novgorod

About the construction of loudspeakers, which will be located near Nizhny Novgorod, the HEAD of the Lindovskaya Poultry Farm, Leonid Gordeev, told Kommersant. These sites will produce chicks from Russian eggs, which will then be used as parent generation in other poultry farms. Gordeev noted that about half of the cost of this project will be financed by funds from the federal budget.

Lindovskaya poultry farm was founded in the Nizhny Novgorod region in 1973. Today, the enterprise produces smoked chicken products, offal, semi-finished products of deep processing - about 30 items in total.

Earlier it was reported that the first-order breeding reproducer is also being built by the Sinyavino poultry farm. The object will be located in the Leningrad region.

Poultry cluster in the Altai Territory

The Altai Broiler company, which is part of the Cherkizovo Group, announced plans to invest about 3.5 billion rubles in the construction of a poultry complex. In particular, as part of the first stage of the investment project, the company will build additional buildings for fattening poultry, increase the capacity of the plant for the production of compound feed and the capacity of the poultry meat processing site (minced meat and cutlets will be produced). It is expected that this will allow in 2023 to increase the annual volume of output by 14 thousand tons, up to 86 thousand tons.

As part of the next phase, Altai Broiler will build at least 24 poultry houses. In total, this will allow the manufacturer to increase production to 110 thousand tons by 2025.

Altai Broiler has been owned by the Cherkizovo Group since 2018. Last summer, a fire broke out at the poultry farm, after which it caught a cold for several months and resumed work in the fall.
