Under the control of the Rosselkhoznadzor Office, cattle breeding animals were imported to Bashkiria from the Czech Republic

Reception and preliminary examination of the physical condition of animals that have undergone a long journey were carried out by specialists from the department of veterinary supervision at the state border of the Russian Federation and transport of the Office of ROSSELKHOZNADZOR for the Republic of Bashkortostan. According to experts, the cattle arrived in satisfactory condition. The animals were quarantined for 30 days in a prepared room.

Before being sent to RUSSIA, the animals underwent quarantine measures. During quarantine, the Czech side carried out all the necessary laboratory tests , as well as immunization and treatment. The cattle came from an area free from contagious, including especially dangerous, animal diseases.

The acquisition of pedigree cattle , according to specialists from the Rosselkhoznadzor Office, makes it possible to improve the genetics of the republic’s dairy and beef herds and, accordingly, increase its productivity.

During the quarantine period, samples of biological material will be taken from animals for diagnostic tests for infectious and viral diseases in the Bashkir testing laboratory of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "ARRIAH" subordinate to Rosselkhoznadzor.

Electronic veterinary certificates of the Customs Union, form No. 1, were issued for animals in the FSIS "Mercury".
