Based on the results of website monitoring, the Department of Rosselkhoznadzor revealed facts of trade in veterinary drugs in Smolensk without an appropriate license

So, in February this year. In the course of this monitoring, a website was identified that contains information on the sale of medicines for veterinary use at several addresses in the city of Smolensk.

According to the results of the analysis of the data of the IS "Cerberus", the specialists of the service found that pet stores are located at the indicated addresses.

At the same time, according to the information of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR register , they were not issued licenses to carry out pharmaceutical activities in the field of circulation of medicines for veterinary use.

Individual entrepreneurs, owners of pet stores, were warned about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements.

In addition, in order to verify the implementation of licensing legislation in the sale of veterinary drugs, together with the prosecutor's office of the Leninsky district of Smolensk, on February 9, a visit was made to the addresses of pet stores.

In the course of the survey, it was confirmed that the outlets were storing and selling medicines for the treatment and prevention of animal diseases (veterinary medicines) without a license to carry out pharmaceutical activities in the field of circulation of medicines for veterinary use.

All information on these facts was sent by the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor to the prosecutor's office for taking measures within the framework of existing powers.

As part of interagency cooperation, the information was also sent to Roskomnadzor for examination and action.

Currently, access to the pages of the site containing information on the sale of veterinary drugs is already limited.
