In terms of cattle population, Bryansk Oblast ranks first among the regions of the Central Federal District and second in the country — Aleksandr Bogomaz

The HEAD of the region noted that the cattle population has jumped over the 600 thousand mark, pigs - one million heads. This is significantly more than in the Soviet period. Also, the poultry population in 2023 approached the 17 million mark. 

Alexander Bogomaz emphasized that such indicators are the result of painstaking daily work of rural workers and enterprise managers. The main reason is the combination of science and production.
