On August 24, a meeting was held between the Governor of the Bryansk Region Alexander Bogomaz and Deputy Prime Minister Victoria Abramchenko. The issues of agriculture and ecology were discussed there.

There are 242 dairy cattle breeding enterprises in the Bryansk region. The direction of 4 agricultural enterprises is beef cattle breeding.

The number of cattle in all Bryansk farms at the beginning of the year totaled 505 thousand heads. Compared to 2014, this figure has doubled. For 7 years, the number of pigs has increased by 187%, by 158% - poultry. Milk production increased by 12.4% compared to the level of 2014.
