Breeding animals from AGROECO successfully delivered to Primorye

According to Mikhail Zheltonogov, Logistics Director of AGROECO , the company has become a pioneer in the transportation of animals by road over such vast distances. The one-way route was more than 9,600 kilometers: “The team that was involved in the transportation process are real heroes who can be safely entered in the record book.”

According to Ekaterina Krishtafuk, head of the breeding material sales department, thanks to the professionalism of the employees, the animals were transported safely: “Many thanks to the entire AGROECO team - drivers, logisticians, livestock specialists and veterinarians, employees of the procurement department and the feed mill. The long journey did not affect the animals, they arrived in excellent condition - the customers are satisfied.”

The head of the AGROECO transport service, Viktor Nikitchenko, said that the animals were delivered on a specialized covered livestock carrier. The transport process was organized in such a way as to minimize stress factors and eliminate biosecurity risks. “During the transportation, a comfortable climate of 20 degrees was maintained for the animals, although outside the temperature in some places dropped below 18 degrees. The air filtration system was also maintained. Daily feeding and rest stops were organized for the animals.”

Recall that the holding actively develops breeding and genetic work, being the official representative of the DANISH GENETICS genetic line in Russia. The holding includes 41 pig breeding sites and 2 breeding and genetic centers. Thanks to productive activities in this direction, the company is not only able to provide its herd with breeding animals, but also sell them to third-party companies. AGROECO genetic products (boars, pigs and semen) are in demand in different parts of the country from Kaliningrad to Kamchatka, as well as outside Russia - in Armenia, Georgia and Kazakhstan.
