An agreement on the innovative development of the region’s agro-industrial complex was signed by the Government of the Voronezh region and the Innopraktika company in 2020.
One of the priority areas of cooperation is the implementation of a genotyping program for dairy cattle in the Voronezh region. In 2023, together with the companies "Eko-Niva", "Molvest", GC "Don-Agro" and experts from the advanced engineering school "Agrogen", created on the basis of the Voronezh State Agrarian University. Emperor Peter I, over 2 thousand heads of cattle were genotyped. The plan for 2024 is to study the properties of more than 2.5 thousand animals. The implementation of this program will allow the formation of highly productive livestock in the region and generate additional profits.
Another, no less important area is the biologization program for agriculture within the framework of the Innagro project. The goal is to study the effectiveness of Russian innovative biological products, reduce the pesticide load on the environment and grow healthy products. As part of the project, 19 enterprises in the region studied the properties of biological plant protection products, treating approximately 2,300 hectares with biological products. As a result, agricultural yields increased by an average of 10-12%.
The implementation of the Agroclasses 2.0 project was also discussed in detail at the meeting. The Voronezh region was the first to propose creating a network of a new generation of agricultural classes together with a key regional partner - the Voronezh State Agrarian University named after Emperor Peter I.
As part of the project, an educational program for high school students was developed, work was organized with 77 schools, 8 basic sites for agricultural classes were created, 300 students were included in educational work and a system of events. Equipment was purchased from the regional budget to equip 8 schools - basic sites for agricultural classes, as well as to create 2 specialized laboratories on robotics and agrobiotechnology. In 2024, the Agricultural Classes 2.0 project is planned to be expanded.
