Work on the fields of the Agro-Belogorye group of companies is in full swing. From 38.5 thousand hectares sown with wheat in the fall of 2021, they plan to thresh over 200 thousand tons of crops. To date, more than a third of the areas of winter crops have already been threshed, the average yield for the holding is 55.6 q/ha.
Ripe ears cast gold in the sun. The hottest time of the year has come for grain growers: the harvesting company 2022 has started. All day long, powerful combines roar in the fields of the holding, harvesting a generous harvest from the fields. In huge KAMAZ trucks, winter wheat moves to feed mills, where it will become the basis of nutritious feed.
Cleaning in the holding started on July 7. “Our grain companies harvest 1.5-2 thousand hectares per day. However, the weather conditions slowed down the harvesting a little, - shared Anatoly Oleinik, director of crop production at Agro-Belogorye GC LLC. – Due to rain and high humidity, the equipment could not fully work in the fields for almost a week, the harvesting time shifted from the approved plans. According to the forecast, heavy rainfall is not expected in the near future, and we will be able to harvest the grown crop without losses and complete the harvesting of winter crops in the first half of August. Interim results for winter wheat are encouraging.”
In total, 107 combines and 94 KAMAZ trucks are involved in the harvest. Machine operators work from dawn to dusk, however, such a schedule is well paid: as noted in the relevant directorate, the increase in wages this spring allows the combine operator to earn about 15 thousand rubles a day during the active harvesting phase.
At the first stage of harvesting this season, 38.5 thousand hectares sown with winter wheat will be threshed. Grain growers expect to thresh over 200,000 tons of grain. To date, the average yield for the holding is 55.6 centners per hectare.
