Veterinary laboratory specialists have found Staphylococcus aureus in two batches of cooked and semi-smoked sausages produced at one of the enterprises in Primorsky Krai. This type of bacteria is the most dangerous and can cause severe food poisoning and various diseases.

The study, conducted by specialists from Rosselkhoznadzor , revealed violations of the technical regulations "On the safety of food products" and "On the safety of meat and meat products". Staphylococcus aureus bacteria were found in a total of 100 kilograms of products. The emergence of this dangerousbacteria in sausages could have occurred due to non-compliance with storage rules or violation of technological processes at the enterprise.

The results of the study were entered into the automated system (AS) in the field of veterinary medicine "Vesta" and transferred to the Central Office and territorial departments of Rosselkhoznadzor, as well as to the veterinary departments of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and other relevant agencies. An information letter was sent to the owner of the enterprise with detailed information about the violations identified and the need to take urgent measures to prevent similar cases in the future.

In light of this incident, it is important to pay attention to food safety issues. Consumers should be aware of what is happening at manufacturing plants and what measures are taken to ensure the safety of the products they consume. Quality control and compliance with all technical regulations should become a priority for food manufacturers.

In addition, consumers should also be more careful when choosing and storing products. It is recommended to purchase products only from reliable manufacturers, monitor expiration dates and store products correctly in order to minimize the risk of food poisoning.

Overall, food safety is an issue that requires serious attention from all stakeholders, including producers and consumers. Only by working together can we ensure the safety of our food and protect the health of ourselves and our loved ones.
