LLC "Dagmyaso" will become a new brand of meat products in Dagestan

A meeting on the construction of a meat-processing enterprise LLC Dagmyaso in the republic was held on Tuesday, May 31, under the leadership of the Chairman of the Government of Dagestan, Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov. This was reported by the press service of the Government of the Republic of Dagestan.

Under the control of Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov with the participation of Dagagroleasing JSC, this year a project has been launched in the republic for the construction of a large full-cycle MEAT processing enterprise.

A land plot in the village of Kulzeb, Kizilyurt District of the Republic, with a total area of ​​up to 20 hectares, is provided for its construction.

In order to implement the project, a legal entity was created - LLC "Dagmyaso", the founder of which is JSC "Corporation for the Development of Dagestan" - a development institution with 100% state capital of the Republic of Dagestan.

Funds for the implementation of the project will be allocated from the budget of the Republic of Dagestan for the construction of infrastructure, it is also planned to attract funds from the investor.

Meat processing plant "Dagmyaso" plans to establish the production and sale of meat products under its own brand with a design capacity of about 700 heads of small and 50 heads of cattle per shift.

The company plans to produce chilled and frozen meat (beef, lamb), cut and vacuum-packed meat, sausages and canned goods, processed intestinal raw materials, including for medical purposes, dry food for cats and dogs, meat and bone meal. It is also planned to establish primary processing of hides and leather production.

Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov noted the particular relevance of the project implementation in the current economic situation.

“The emergence of a full-cycle meat processing plant in the current conditions will enhance the ability to ensure food security in the republic and in the country as a whole. The main plus is the full cycle of the enterprise, that is, an animal “enters” there, and at the output we get different types of products,” the Prime Minister noted.

Recall that a working group has been formed to implement the project, which includes the leadership of the Ministry of Property of the Republic of Dagestan, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Dagestan, the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Dagestan, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Dagestan, the Agency for Entrepreneurship and Investments of the Republic of Dagestan and others.

The participants of the meeting discussed the implementation of the road map activities, reviewed the business plan and financial model being developed.
