About 30 thousand broiler chickens settled in a poultry farm in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk

Two more poultry houses were settled at the Ostrovnoy poultry farm in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. In total, since the beginning of the year, four outdoor poultry houses have been filled at the enterprise. In each - about 30 thousand broiler chickens. Previously, they were disinfected and the necessary microclimate was established. This was reported by the press service of the Ostrovnoy poultry farm.

“Specialists carefully monitor the bird’s weight gain and do everything to make it grow healthy and strong. Chickens receive vitamins, feed additives and anti-stress drugs, the company noted.

On behalf of the DIRECTOR of the poultry farm, the incoming compound feed passed laboratory tests. For the proper development of young animals, it was decided to optimize the diet by adding the necessary amino acids.

To prevent cases of poultry disease, special attention is paid to vaccination.

- Vaccination is carried out according to the plan of anti-epizootic measures. The first vaccine is given to a chicken at the age of one day and then according to the schedule, - said the acting chief veterinarian of the poultry farm Konstantin Kiselev.

The first poultry in the new year will appear on island shelves in March. Recall that last year at the poultry farm "Ostrovnoy" due to bird flu there was a mass death of birds.
