The meeting addressed various issues related to the development of the halal industry both in Russia and abroad, including modern consumer preferences, legislative aspects and challenges of product counterfeiting. The prospects for mutual recognition of standards within the Eurasian Economic Union and domestic demand for halal products were also discussed. The participants emphasized that high quality standards for halal products help preserve cultural traditions and form new trends in the global market. In general, confidence was expressed in the significant export potential of the halal industry in Russia and its sustainable development.
