The Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan intends to ensure the traceability of meat

According to the Committee for Veterinary Control and Supervision, the Analytical Center for Economic Policy in the Agroindustrial Complex presented several digitalization projects in veterinary medicine: TortTulik mobile application for owners of farm animals, the Processing Center module in the Farm Animals Identification information system for issuing individual numbers for animals and ear tags, as well as the module "Veterinary and sanitary examination of meat".

Having familiarized himself with the new systems, Vice Minister of Agriculture Amangaliy Berdalin instructed to speed up the integration with the information system "Mercury" of the Russian Federation. Product traceability must start at the border and continue to the destination. Therefore, laboratory tests must be carried out at the border , and the results must be ready by the time the goods arrive at their destination.
Amangaliy Berdalin instructed to make the information system transparent and easily traceable, from the issuance of veterinary certificate No. 1 to the sale of products on the shelves. Thus, buyers will be able to know from which farm the MEAT or other products come from, as well as information about the age of farm animals and more.
