Meat production volumes at Moscow enterprises increased by more than 70%

The volume of MEAT products output at Moscow enterprises in 2020 increased by more than 70% compared to the previous year. This was announced by the HEAD of the capital's department of investment and industrial policy Alexander Prokhorov.

“Moscow is considered one of the centers of the meat industry in the country - about 15 large and medium enterprises of the industry work here. Only in 2020, the capital's output of meat products showed steady growth - it increased by more than 70% compared to the previous year. In addition, the capital's manufacturers are actively working on foreign markets, ”the press service of the department quotes Prokhorov.

According to the press service, in 2020, Moscow enterprises produced 13.8 thousand tons of meat and offal, the growth in production volumes compared to the previous year was 322.8%. The output of smoked sausage products increased by 8.2% over the year and amounted to 111.6 thousand tons. “One of the key players is the metropolitan enterprise Dymov. Last year alone, 26 thousand tons of sausages were produced here, which are supplied not only throughout the country, but are also successfully exported,” Prokhorov added.

During the work on the production lines, the company has developed more than 500 types of products. The head of the department said that over the 20 years of its existence, the company has produced about 100 million packages of sausages, and by its anniversary it has produced the 1.5 billion sausage loaf.

Dymov's products are supplied to Belarus, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan. The company carries out a full production cycle: from deboning to vacuum packaging of products. The company owns three production sites and four livestock complexes, which guarantees the quality of products at every stage - from pasture to refrigerator, Prokhorov emphasized.
