The volume of exports of finished meat products from Russia to Singapore is growing every year

According to Euromonitor International forecasts, in the future until 2024, the supply of finished MEAT products to Singapore will remain at about the same level - 45 thousand tons of finished meat products per year in the amount of 170 million US dollars .

According to the federal center "Agroexport", domestic production of finished meat products in 2020 amounted to only 7 thousand tons, which is associated with the limited territory of the republic, which provides the bulk of the population's demand through imports.

This is very important for Russian producers of agricultural products, which are developing new EXPORT markets.

- At the moment, the Russian Federation supplies Singapore with thermally processed meat products from pork, meat, poultry offal, as well as finished poultry products, - Ekaterina Luchkina, executive DIRECTOR of the National Union of Meat Processors, told Agroexport. - The volume of Russian supplies of finished meat products is growing every year, but the potential has not yet been exhausted. Catering and restaurant products have significant room for growth, as Singapore has a strong presence in eating out.

According to the expert, chicken cutlets, nuggets and sausages are the most popular among poultry meat products. In addition, about 15% of the population of Singapore are Muslims, therefore, despite the absence of direct requirements for Halal certification, the presence of such certification by the exporter increases his chance of successful sales in the country's market.
