NSA has developed the first mobile application for agricultural insurance for agricultural producers

The National Union of Agricultural Insurers has launched a mobile application for farmers, which will help to correctly approach the conclusion of an agricultural risk insurance contract with state support, choose the optimal algorithm of actions in the event of an insured event, and also contains contact information and channels for communication with NAI experts.

“The application was created primarily for the convenience of farmers, although employees of insurance companies, experts, and other participants in the agricultural insurance market can also use it,” said NSA President Korney Bizhdov. - The user just needs to perform a few simple steps on his smartphone, and he will be in the section where, after choosing the type of agricultural insurance of interest, he will be able to see the main stages of concluding an agreement and find answers to basic questions. Also, on the main page of the application, users can go to the “scripts” (instructions) section on the actions of the Insured and the Insurer in the event of an event that has signs of an insured event for various types of agricultural insurance.

The application is currently available for Android devices (link). In the near future, an option will be offered that also allows you to use the entire functionality of the mobile application from the browser of other mobile devices and computers.

“We hope that the interaction algorithms embedded in the mobile application will be able to increase the level of mutual trust between the insured and the insurer, as well as help to avoid disputes and minimize disagreements at the stage of claims settlement,” said Korney Bizhdov.


According to the Federal Law N 260-F3 "On State Support in the Sphere of Agricultural Insurance", in RUSSIA, within the framework of a centralized system, state support is provided for insurance of risks of crop production, livestock breeding and commercial aquaculture. Since January 1, 2016, a single all-Russian association has been operating in the agricultural insurance market with state support - the National Union of Agricultural Insurers. Only member insurance companies have the right to conclude insurance contracts with state support, insurance is carried out on the basis of uniform standard rules for each insurance program.
