The new pig farm "Dymov" will open in October

The new pig breeding complex, which is being built in Gavrilov Posad by the Dymov group of companies, will open in October 2021, a month earlier than planned. It will be able to hire more than 100 employees, investor Vadim Dymov said during a working visit by Governor Stanislav Voskresensky on Thursday, July 29.

"About 100 people will be able to work at the new pig farm. We invite experienced engineers, zooengineers and geneticists from other regions to improve the scientific base in the region, since animal husbandry has not been developed in these parts before ... About 300 people will be involved in this work, on this and that complexes," Dymov told the governor.

According to Vadim Dymov, the pig farm is 85% ready, the installation of equipment and landscaping are underway, the work will be completed a month ahead of schedule. "In November, we will begin to populate the buildings," Vadim Dymov told reporters. According to the government, the pig farm will have 3,000 pigs and 10 boars.

The complex is planned to have 11 buildings, it is similar to the one that opened in 2019, but that one works as a breeding and genetic one, and this one will be fattening. Dymov specified that the pork would be shipped abroad and across Russia

“Thank you for keeping your word and building the first complex on time, we are waiting for the second one. The residents of Gav Posad are waiting, as these are jobs. we will do it only to create jobs in the Ivanovo region," said Stanislav Voskresensky.
