Compensation of costs for sea transportation
The first initiative concerns logistics companies that provide services for sea transportation of containers from Russian ports to friendly countries. This is especially relevant for routes through the Baltic Sea and the Azov-Black Seabasin , heading to ports in Latin America and Africa. The ministry plans to create an accessible and regular logistics service, which will significantly improve the supply of products to previously inappropriate regions.

According to Roman Chekushov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, “we expect that such a measure will allow us to expand the presence of Russian products in new promising regions for EXPORT.”

Compensation for transportation costs
The second measure is compensation of up to 60% of the costs of transporting industrial products abroad, which applies exclusively to friendly countries. The maximum compensation amount for one company will be 200 million rubles, making exports more attractive and accessible for many domestic enterprises.

The application period for participation in the program will start on February 28, 2025, which gives companies time to prepare. it is expected that this measure will contribute to both increasing export volumes and strengthening the position of Russian goods in international markets.

The new measures open up unique opportunities for Russian producers, but companies still face challenges such as the need to adapt to international trade conditions and ensure product quality in line with international standards.
