A new meat processing plant will appear in the Kizilyurt district of Dagestan

On March 9, under the leadership of the Chairman of the Government of Dagestan, Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, a meeting was held on the construction of a full-cycle MEAT processing enterprise in the republic.

On behalf of Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov, a working group was formed to implement the project, which included representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Dagestan, the Ministry of Property of the Republic of Dagestan, the Ministry of Construction of the Republic of Dagestan, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Dagestan, the Agency for Entrepreneurship and Investments of the Republic of Dagestan, and Dagestan Development Corporation JSC.

Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov noted the high importance and relevance of the project implementation both for the republic and for the whole country.

“The products of Dagestan agricultural producers are in demand throughout the country, and the issue of increasing the production of finished products is becoming especially relevant.

The creation of such an enterprise will have a positive impact on the economy of the republic, will provide high-quality meat products not only to Dagestanis, but also to residents of other regions of the Russian Federation. In addition, these are new jobs for the region,” Abdulmuslimov commented.

The project for the construction of a meat processing plant provides for the organization of production and sale of meat products under its own brand with a design capacity of up to 700 HEAD of small cattle and 50 head of cattle per shift.

Upon reaching the planned capacity, the meat processing plant plans to produce chilled and frozen semi-finished meat, cattle and small cattle meat, canned meat, sausages and other meat processing products.

Financing is planned to be provided at the expense of RosAgroLeasing JSC and the republican budget.

Preliminary consideration is given to 2 sites in the Kizilyurtovsky district. Among the production facilities are considered: a workshop for slaughtering and processing meat, workshops for the production of canned meat, sausage and intestinal workshops, workshops for meat and bone meal, workshops for processing skins and others.

Within the framework of the meeting, the members of the working group discussed the details of the project implementation, including the provision of the necessary infrastructure, determination of the required capacities for electricity and gas supply of the facility under construction, and others.

As a result of the discussion, a roadmap was formed and signed for the implementation of measures for the construction of a full-cycle meat processing enterprise.
