The main objective of this document is to create federal self-regulatory organizations (FSRO) that will represent the interests of breeding farms in interaction with state authorities and coordinate their activities. FSRO will also take care of data accounting in breeding livestock, which will help ensure transparency and reliability of information about breeding stock and its productivity.

The explanatory note to the bill states that the introduction of the FSRO will contribute to improving the quality of selected breeding young animals, semen of producers and embryos of cattle on the domestic market. Public discussion of the bill will last until January 7, 2025.
