The agrotourism direction in the district is represented by several projects. Thus, farmer Evgeny Kirillov installed 2 warm and 3 summer houses, built a Russian bathhouse and opened a fish farm on his farm. There is also a stable here, where horseback riding for children and adults is organized, and hippotherapy is carried out.
In addition, guests are invited to visit a goat farm, a CHEESE FACTORY, an apiary, and take part in feeding the animals and tasting the products. The farmer plans to expand. The construction of a frame house with all the amenities for agrotourists is currently being completed. In the near future, a road will be laid, workshops for obtaining sturgeon caviar and juveniles will be built, as well as separate workshops for a mini-cheese factory and a smoking workshop.
Since 2022, the Green Valley tourist base, created on the farm of Yuri Averyanov using the Agrotourism grant, has been welcoming visitors in the Alatyr District. With the help of federal funding in the amount of 3 million rubles and its own funds in the amount of 300 thousand rubles, the agricultural producer managed to build guest houses and improve the territory.
At the moment, the area of the base is 5 thousand square meters. Visitors are offered a mushroom and berry picking trip, an introduction to eco-trails, fishing and a visit to a Russian bathhouse, depending on the season.
Sergey Artamonov noted that communication with representatives of the agrotourism sector allows us to draw conclusions about the profitability of the destination and demand.
- We recently met with berry growers, cheese makers - discussed whether to maintain state support for these areas, determined what to change. Now we are studying the development of fish farming and sheep farming - experienced farmers share analytics, it does not show growth everywhere. There are controversial issues that need to be resolved immediately on the ground, - he said.
At present, the federal budget allocates up to 10 million rubles for competitive projects on agrotourism. This area is also included in the republican program of initiative budgeting, which provides for preferential loans for the development of production.
As Sergey Artamonov commented, thanks to such mechanisms, rural areas receive opportunities for infrastructure development, creation of new jobs and types of employment. But the main thing is to weigh all the pros and cons in order to choose a direction that will benefit both the soul and life.
In Chuvashia, in 2023, projects were implemented under the grant "Agrotourism" in the Batyrevsky district. On the basis of Chulpan Pazyukova, the recreation center "Turgay" was created, and Marat Valeev opened the tourist base "Dolina".
The plans for 2024 include the following projects: "Berry Trail" in the Ivushka nursery in the Cheboksary District and "Recreation center with the estate of a 19th-century Chuvash peasant, State Farmstead of V.N. Shumilov" (Krasnoarmeysky District).
