
The virus was found in samples taken from animals of the Leninsky-1 pig farm in the village of Pervomayskoye, the report said.
Earlier, an outbreak of ASF was detected at another Rusagro pig farm in Primorye - Leninsky-2.
“Pig complexes “Leninsky-1” and “Leninsky-2” are located at a distance of 500 meters from each other, so we expected such a development of the situation and were ready for it. All the necessary anti-epizootic measures have already been taken on the territory of these pig complexes, and disinfection barriers have been put up,” said Stanislav Krushinsky, HEAD of the regional state veterinary inspection.
On May 21, the governor of Primorsky Krai, Oleg Kozhemyako, by his order, introduced quarantine at the pig farm .
