At the Reftinskaya poultry farm unrest began due to privatization

Among the workers of the poultry farm "Reftinskaya" (Sverdlovsk region), unrest began because of the upcoming privatization. Management sends letters to staff trying to reassure people. About this URA.RU said the general DIRECTOR of the enterprise Alexander Zasypkin.

“There is unrest, everyone is thinking about tomorrow. For people, any change is already a cause for alarm, they fear that the “Reftinskaya” poultry farm will suffer the same fate as the Sredneuralskaya (after the arrival of the new owner, reductions began there - ed.). We try to reassure the workers, we write letters to the staff, we carry out explanatory work, ”said Alexander Zasypkin, general director of the Reftinskaya poultry farm, to URA.RU.

The management of the enterprise promises the staff the preservation of all social programs and benefits. “Investment development will be aimed at the technological and energy modernization of the enterprise in order to further stable operation and development of the Reftinskaya Poultry Farm brand,” the management’s letters say. Zasypkin himself is confident that the arrival of a new owner, "who knows how to count money and live according to the laws of business," will raise the company's trademark to new heights and make its products even more revered throughout the country.

At the end of July, the Sverdlovsk authorities announced the sale of the Reftinskaya poultry farm to private ownership. This should save the enterprise from the plight in which it found itself due to debts. Years earlier, the Sredneuralsk Poultry Farm suffered the same fate. It, along with a debt of 237 million rubles, was bought out by the Chelyabinsk agricultural holding Ravis. In order to optimize production, the factory began layoffs. According to unconfirmed reports, the Sredneuralskaya Poultry Farm may be completely liquidated and a residential area built on this site.
