One of the oldest agricultural enterprises in the region, the Tulskaya poultry farm, is among the largest poultry farms of chicken egg production enterprises, ranking 15th in the rating of the Russian Poultry Union. At the end of 2022, Tulskaya produced 510 million eggs, which is 2% of the market.

“We were moving towards this. Last year, the poultry farm increased production to 1.5 million eggs per day, increased labor productivity thanks to participation in the federal program, completed an investment project to expand production capacity,” says Commercial DIRECTOR Georgy Tkachenko.

The management of the Tulskaya poultry farm does not intend to stop there, continuing to develop the infrastructure of the enterprise.

In 2023, the company plans to upgrade the drying and sorting shop, designed for drying, processing and storage of grain. The workshop has long been in need of reconstruction, Georgy Tkachenko admits, and the equipment that has been in operation for more than one year is outdated.

The old dryer will be dismantled. To replace it, a new one will be installed - domestically produced, which allows drying and processing a larger amount of grain than before.

Also in the nearest plans of the Tulskaya poultry farm is the opening of a robotic packaging warehouse. Instead of people, almost all the work here will be done by artificial intelligence, which will optimize logistics and increase warehouse productivity at times.

The new warehouse is expected to open at the end of April.
