Selling prices for pork and broiler meat fell last week

With the restoration of poultry and pig breeding complexes affected by zoonoses, prices for products of enterprises in these segments of agricultural production are gradually decreasing.

The analytical center of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia recorded that as of November 24, selling prices for pork fell by 2.5% over the week, and chicken meat - by 0.7%. The price of beef last week has not changed, lamb has risen in price by 0.1%.

The Ministry notes that meat processors, operating in conditions of significant increase in costs, contain the growth of domestic prices by optimizing production processes and reducing margins.
