Harvesting campaign has begun on the fields of Damate in the Penza region

 The press center of the Damate group of companies reports that a harvesting campaign has started in the Penza region. Work on the fields with a total area of ​​27,000 hectares will be completed in October. The harvest will be used to produce high-quality compound feed for the growing turkey population.

Agricultural land "Damate" is located in eight districts of the Penza region: Vadinsky, Kolyshleysky, Mokshansky, Narovchatsky, Nizhnelomovsky, Pachelmsky, Penza and Spassky. The main volume of harvested grain will be winter and spring wheat, which occupies 15,000 hectares this year. Wheat harvesting has already begun in Mokshansky, Narovchatsky, Nizhnelomovsky, Penza and Spassky districts of the Penza region.

8.8 thousand hectares are allocated for sunflower. Maize ripens on 900 hectares. Flax crops occupy 1.9 thousand hectares, soybeans are grown on an area of ​​162 hectares - these are new crops grown for the first time in the history of the holding, their entire crop is intended for sale.

The proceeds will be directed to the purchase of crops necessary for the manufacture of compound feed according to the recipes of the Damate group of companies. More than 200 employees of the holding's crop-growing divisions and more than 150 units of agricultural machinery are involved in the harvesting campaign. Harvesting of spring wheat and sowing of winter crops will soon begin.

The Damate group of companies annually processes over 50 thousand hectares in three regions of the country: the Penza and Tyumen regions and the North Caucasus. The main part of the agricultural crops is used as raw material for feed of own production. The grain grown in the Penza region fully covers the needs of the livestock of turkey-breeding enterprises.
