Locally produced chicken meat has risen sharply in the Orenburg region

Orenburg buyers are surprised by the increase in prices for broiler chicken carcasses from a local producer - the Ural Broiler company.

According to buyers, in six months the price of a local bird bites. If before winter, 1 kilogram of raw chilled chicken MEAT under the Nasha Birdie brand cost about 110-120 rubles, now they have to pay up to 205 rubles per unit of mass.

The poultry farm "Ural Broiler", where poultry is grown for slaughter, is located 10 kilometers from the regional center. Delivery of products to stores, taken into account in the retail markup, should be cheaper than competitors from other regions. However, in reality, chicken meat supplied from Tatarstan and Bashkiria is cheaper, while local meat is more expensive.

The Uralsky Broiler poultry farm changed its owner two years ago. it was acquired by the Resurs agricultural holding. The amount of the transaction was estimated at almost 1.4 billion rubles.
