Mordovia and Tajikistan will create a joint venture for the production of meat and milk in the smart farm format

The Minister of Agriculture of Tajikistan proposed to create a joint venture with RUSSIA for the production of MEAT and MILK.
On March 3, within the framework of the working trip of the Russian delegation to the Republic of Tajikistan in Dushanbe, the HEAD of Mordovia Artyom Zdunov met with the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan Kurbon Khakimzoda. The prospects for developing cooperation and increasing mutual trade between Mordovia and Tajikistan were discussed.

As noted the day before by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin at the plenary session, the establishment of modern supply chains within the framework of the Eurasian Agroexpress can be a good incentive for agricultural producers in Russia and Tajikistan, a significant contribution to global food security.

Mordovia is one of the 70 regions of Russia that have direct contracts with regional centers and cities of the Republic of Tajikistan. The foreign trade turnover (EXPORT) of the republic to Tajikistan for 9 months of last year exceeded 700 thousand dollars. A significant share was made by the products of agricultural producers of Mordovia - they supplied meat and meat by-products, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

The head of Mordovia made a proposal to create a wholesale and retail center in the Republic of Tajikistan, which will help build convenient and reliable logistics chains for the supply of food to Asian countries.

Also during the meeting, the potential of agricultural enterprises of the republic was presented, the parties discussed the creation of special economic zones.

The Minister of Agriculture proposed to create a joint venture for the production of meat and milk in the “smart farm” format on the territory of Tajikistan. The head of Mordovia supported this proposal, emphasizing that the main advantage of such an undertaking is the proximity of product sales markets. Artyom Zdunov noted that in the near future, representatives of the largest livestock enterprises of Mordovia will be sent to Tajikistan to work out this undertaking.

Rector of Moscow State University N.P. Ogareva Dmitry Glushko presented the activities of the university in the field of agro-industrial complex: developments in the field of organic farming, high-resource repair of agricultural machinery, the work of the REC "Engineering", as well as the training and retraining of specialists for the agro-industrial complex.

In addition, agreements were reached on training at the Moscow State University. N.P. Ogarev of specialists for the statistical services of the country within the framework of the program of the Interstate Statistics Committee of the CIS countries.
