“From 2017 to 2023, 669 young specialists who received an agricultural education and work in the agricultural sector were paid 156 million rubles in a one-time payment. This year, 96 people received such assistance, the amount of support amounted to more than 22 million rubles,” the statement said.

Young agronomists, gardeners , engineers, tractor drivers, veterinarians, and representatives of other professions in the agricultural sector are the future of Crimean agriculture, Andrey Savchuk recalled.

According to him, young people work both in large agricultural enterprises and in small agricultural production.

“This year, for example, one of the most popular areas is the food and processing industry. 37 people began working at wineries, beer and soft drinks, poultry processing, essential oils and many other enterprises,” the minister specified. And he added that 13 young Crimean farmers grow vegetables and fruits in peasant farms, work for individual entrepreneurs, and three of them manage peasant farms.

This year, more than 20 specialists have chosen a scientific direction in agriculture - they are developing new varieties with increased productivity and resistance to diseases and pests. About the same number were employed in other organizations of the regional agro-industrial complex, commented Andrey Savchuk.


Young people who have graduated from an agricultural university or secondary vocational educational institution can count on a one-time payment. After receiving the money, you must work in the agricultural sector of the republic for at least three years. Graduates of universities receive 250 thousand rubles, and graduates of colleges and technical schools - 200 thousand rubles.
