Miratorg successfully held Russian Rodeo 2023 in the Oryol region

The tournament took place in the vicinity of the village of Streletsky not far from Orel; more than 20 cowboys from Orel, Bryansk and Kaluga took part in it. The team of the Klimovsky and Mglinsky divisions of the holding from the Bryansk region was recognized as the winner.

For eight years now, Miratorg has been organizing festivals, where the Russian Rodeo becomes the highlight of the festival program, which includes an exhibition of modern technologies for breeding beef cattle and a culinary festival. Cowboy-Cattleman competitions demonstrate to the public the professional disciplines required by herd operators in the daily work of the farm and pasture: horsemanship, lasso skills, animal sorting skills. This is a spectacular and exciting outdoor performance, full of sports excitement.

The victory went to the team from Bryansk in an emotionally intense and stubborn struggle with their opponents. She brilliantly showed the best combination of speed of execution of key elements and quality of work of operators.

This year, the Russian Rodeo attracted hundreds of spectators - not only from farmers and agricultural industry specialists. Among them were people of different professions - fans of cowboy culture - and, of course, many children who perceived what was happening with great interest, sometimes turning into delight.

The corporate chain "Steak&Burger" offered guests of the holiday a delicious treat: juicy beef burgers, steaks, a variety of snacks and drinks from Miratorg. The “Meat Classics” barbecue festival invited them to take part in master classes on grilling dishes. The branded retail chain invited people to a specialized pavilion with a variety of products for a prize draw.

The press service notes that the growing interest in the “Russian Rodeo” and the success of the festival as a whole indicate the development of the industry, in which Miratorg became a pioneer and in 10–15 years created an integrated production of high-quality beef according to the “from field to field” business model. counter." Today, the number of specialized Aberdeen Angus cattle on its farms in the Bryansk, Oryol, Kaluga, Smolensk, Tula, and Kaliningrad regions is 800 thousand heads. 

The total number of employees employed in this area of ​​business of ABH Miratorg exceeds 8.5 thousand people, and more than 1,500 of them are “Russian cowboys,” that is, dexterous and skilled livestock operators. At tournaments they popularize their unusual and very interesting profession among young people.
