Miratorg will defend its business reputation in court

The Miratorg agro-industrial holding declares that the dissemination in the media - in particular, in the online publication Readovka67.ru - of knowingly false information about the company is unacceptable. The company has the right to protect its business reputation in COURT and on July 9 filed a statement of claim with the Arbitration Court of the Smolensk Region.

ABH "Miratorg" and Alexey Kostylev's media holding "Readovka" have a rich judicial history of relationship. The company filed lawsuits three times in 2019 and 2020 demanding that the information contained in the media holding’s publications be recognized as untrue—and won the courts three times. Controversial articles were removed and refutations were published. In total, legal costs and court fines amounting to more than 1.9 million rubles were recovered from the media company. All the money was sent by the agricultural holding to charity - helping children from the social center for assistance to families and children in the Trubchevsky district of the Bryansk region, the department of pediatric oncology and hematology of the NKMC named after. Z.I. Krugloya in the Oryol region, the oncohematology department of the children's regional clinical hospital in Belgorod, the Emerald City Palliative Care Center in the Belgorod village of Korotkoye, the Ivanovo boarding school in the Rylsky district of the Kursk region. The Miratorg company will also seek to hold persons accountable for their unauthorized entry into the Rukhan farm. In relation to provocative actions, a legal assessment will be given by the competent authorities. The company submitted applications to the Ershichsky police department, as well as an application to the prosecutor's office of the Ershichsky district of the Smolensk region.
