The department has determined what information will need to be provided when importing breeding animals depending on their type: cattle ( cattle ) for dairy and MEAT productivity, pigs, horses, deer, camels, as well as sheep and goats - separately for each area of ​​their productivity .

For example, when importing dairy cattle, you need to indicate the identification number of the animal, its full name, breed, date and place of birth, age and sex group, and color of the animal. His genetic profile is also indicated, confirmation of the authenticity of the origin by the results of molecular genetic examination, including the parents. In addition, you will need to attach a pedigree indicating at least three generations of ancestors.

Separate requirements are specified for the import of breeding rabbits, foxes, American minks, nutria, arctic foxes, raccoon dogs, sables, ferrets, and chinchillas. Requirements for the import of day-old poultry and hatching eggs are also specified.

In addition, standards have been established for the import of a number of fish of breeding value, honey bees and silkworms.
