Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev will visit the Voronezh enterprise "Agroeco" 

The MEAT processing enterprise (MPP) of the Voronezh group of companies "Agroeco" in the Pavlovsky district may soon be visited by the Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev. About this "Abiregu" said his own source in the government.

According to him, the minister's visit is scheduled for the second half of May. Together with him, State Duma Vice Speaker Alexei Gordeev and Governor Alexander Gusev will come to the enterprise.

The visit of high-ranking guests to the region to a new and large agribusiness enterprise fits into the logic of recent events. At the President's meeting with Alexander Gusev, Vladimir Putin noted the region's high performance in agriculture. In turn, the governor announced record investments in the industry - 60 billion rubles.

Moreover, such a visit will be a good help at the beginning of the governor's election campaign, the logic of which will be to "demonstrate the results." According to the interlocutor of "Abireg", the visit of high-ranking guests will be parade and protocol.

The company does not officially comment on Dmitry Patrushev's visit. A source of Abirega, close to the leadership of Agroeco, specified that the minister’s visit could be timed to coincide with the launch of the WFP, but the details of the visit are still being worked out.

WFP is the anchor investment project in the area of ​​socio-economic development in Pavlovsk. Its construction began in 2019. According to updated data of the group, it has invested 15.1 billion rubles in the plant. When the enterprise reaches full capacity, the number of jobs will increase from 1 thousand to 3.5 thousand people. In 2023, the company plans to produce 207 thousand tons of products at the plant. In the same year, it is planned to launch a consumer packaging workshop. This will allow us to complete the formation of a full-cycle pig breeding cluster and enter retail.

It is worth noting that Dmitry Patrushev has already visited the enterprise in 2021. Then his arrival was timed to coincide with the technical launch of the slaughter line. In addition to the minister, the Vice-Speaker of the State Duma Alexei Gordeev, the HEAD of the region Alexander Gusev, the chairman of the board of Rosselkhozbank Boris Listov and the chief managing partner for urban development of VEB.RF, the general DIRECTOR of the Fund for the Development of Monotowns Irina Makieva were present.

Agroeco Group of Companies is one of the Top 5 pork producers. At the end of 2021, the volume of pork production in live weight amounted to 274 thousand tons. In the Voronezh and Tula regions, the group has 43 pig farms, three feed mills and breeding and genetic centers. The company has cattle farms in Verkhnemamonsky district .
