Mercy Trade LLC (part of the Mercy Agro Primorye group) has invested more than 1 billion rubles in the creation of a pig-breeding cluster in the Primorsky Territory, Interfax was told in the press service of the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic JSC (KRDV).

"The company is creating a full-fledged pig-breeding cluster in Primorsky Krai, the main task of which will be to meet the needs of Primorsky Krai and the Far East in pork of its own production. Investments in the full implementation of the project will amount to 10.7 billion rubles, it is planned to create 726 jobs. Currently, more than 1 billion rubles were invested in the project, about 500 people were employed. The project is planned to be fully implemented by the end of 2028," the press service official said.

The project is being implemented within the territory of advanced development "Mikhailovsky".

To provide pig-breeding complexes with mixed fodder, Mercy Trade develops crop production.

The press service of the government of the Russian Federation reported that Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on expanding the boundaries of the Mikhailovsky ASEZ by including new land plots, which will allow the implementation of the Mercy Trade investment project.

The territories included in the ASEZ are planned, in particular, to be sown with fodder plants, which will provide the farm with compound feed of its own production.

"The expansion of the boundaries of the Mikhailovsky ASEZ will make it possible to cover the current and future needs of the Mercy Agro Primorye group in raw materials for feed of its own production by growing fodder crops," the press service of the KRDV explained.

Merci Agro Primorye's website states that the agricultural holding is building pig-breeding complexes with a production capacity of 540 thousand heads per year, feed mills with a capacity of 260 thousand tons per year, an industrial complex for slaughter and primary MEAT processing and an elevator complex with a capacity of 60 thousand tons.

According to the SPARK-Interfax analytical system, Mercy Trade LLC was registered in 2008 in the village of Prokhory, Spassky District, Primorsky Krai. LLC Primtorginvest (Vladivostok) owns 72.57% of the capital of Mercy Trade, LLC Agroindustrial Group Mercy Agro (Vladivostok) - 24.24%. The revenue of Mercy Trade in 2020 is 1.122 billion rubles, the net loss is 143.6 million rubles.
