Luzinsky feed mill "PRODO" confirmed compliance with Russian and international standards

The feed mill in the village of Luzino, located 26 kilometers from the center of Omsk, put into operation in the summer of 1988, was originally designed as a pig-breeding complex of the Omsky Bacon company. Soon, the products of the enterprise began to supply the poultry farm "Sibirskaya".

In 2000, the laboratory of the Luzinsky Feed Mill (LKZ) was accredited for technical competence. Since then, the company has been engaged in research and development in the field of certification and standardization of animal feed. Today, LKZ is one of the most powerful compound feed producers in Siberia, which provides not only poultry farms and pig farms of the PRODO group, but also sells products to the final consumer: livestock and poultry farms.

As an enterprise in the food production chain, LKZ periodically confirms the high quality and safety of feed. In 2016, for the first time, the plant was certified according to the international food safety standards iso 22 000, and regular audits show that the production complies with modern standards. The next one ended on May 25, 2023. No shortcomings were found.

The external audit was carried out according to two standards: international ISO 22000 and Russian GOST R ISO 22000. The results showed that the efforts related to the implementation of the quality and food safety management system are fully justified. it greatly facilitates the planning and management of internal business processes. Compound feed produced by LKZ has been awarded with professional competitions such as “One Hundred Best Goods of Russia”, “Best Goods and Services – GEMMA”.

According to Alexei Davydov, DIRECTOR of Luzinsky Feed Mill LLC, the quality and safety control system of products at the production site is constantly being improved, so the auditors do not have any questions and the management does not receive any complaints. The entire staff of the plant is responsible for their work, and consumers are confident in the products. In addition, production efficiency is expressed by the growth of weight gain and a healthy immune system of animals on PRODO farms and customers who constantly use LKZ compound feeds and premixes.
