The Komsomolskaya poultry farm continues to increase production volumes and increase the number of poultry. In January 2024, the company produced 12.1 million eggs. In total, 38.5 million eggs were produced last year.

According to the head of the livestock and breeding department of the regional Ministry of Agriculture, Elena Talalai, the Komsomolsk poultry farm has been restoring its capacity for almost a year. During this time, the enterprise imported a new population of birds, launched production and strengthened biosafety measures. At the moment, the enterprise has 549 thousand heads of poultry.

Elena Talalay emphasized that this year the poultry farm will reach its designed capacity. For its part, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Khabarovsk Territory also provides the necessary support to stabilize chicken egg prices .

The Khabarovsky Poultry Plant is also involved in the industrial production of chicken eggs in the region. In 2023, the production of eggs at this plant increased by more than 7 million pieces.

"Khabarovsk Breeding Plant" is the only breeding breeder for breeding poultry for egg production in the Far East. The plant supplies breeding products not only to agricultural enterprises of the region, but also to other regions of the Far Eastern Federal District. The enterprise contains more than 720 thousand heads of poultry, and the plant plans to increase the number to 800 thousand.

One of the important measures to support chicken egg producers in the region remains the regional subsidy, which is paid to companies for products sold. These funds help offset poultry farms' costs of purchasing feed, veterinary care and livestock services, and ultimately contribute to the sustainability of the enterprise. The subsidy amount is 400 rubles per 1000 chicken eggs.

Since the beginning of this year, the governor of the Khabarovsk region has approved another form of support - reimbursement of expenses for the purchase of breeding young poultry for agricultural producers, who are socially important suppliers of products to the population. This support will help reduce enterprise costs and have a positive impact on production costs. Poultry farms in the region require more than 100 thousand birds annually.

In total, in 2023, about 230 million chicken eggs were produced in the region by all categories of farms.
