The Kuibyshev breed of sheep is bred by a farmer in the Ulyanovsk region

In the first year of implementation of the Agrostartup project, Vladislav Elenkin became one of the winners of the competitive selection.  

Using grant funds in the amount of 3.2 million rubles, the farmer purchased 20 heads of sheep, a tractor and a semi-trailer. Let us remind you that farmers can use the Agrostartup grant within the framework of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives.”

Currently, the farm has 35 hectares of arable land and contains 100 heads of Kuibyshev breed sheep, which are distinguished not only by high productive qualities, but also by excellent adaptability to local climatic conditions.

The farm has all the necessary agricultural equipment . At the end of last year, the peasant farm produced 81 tons of sunflower and 1.1 tons of lamb MEAT.

Since 2022, Vladislav Elenkin, at his own expense, has been implementing a new project to build a sheep farm, which will significantly increase the number of sheep and, accordingly, the volume of lamb meat production.
