Kuban is fully self-sufficient in milk and meat, increasing production by 2030.

Last year, the Krasnodar Krai produced 1.73 million tons of MILK, reaching a record productivity of 10.4 tons per cow, 22% higher than the national average. The governor noted that the region's dairy farming potential is even greater, and plans to increase milk production to 3 million tons by 2030. This will enable the development of new areas, including the production of powdered milk for both domestic and international markets.

To achieve its goals, the Krasnodar Krai must actively implement modern technologies, improve animal breeds, collaborate with scientists, and receive government support. Since 2018, the region has had a livestock development law in place , with funding totaling 700 million rubles in the first year and subsequently increasing to 2 billion rubles annually. This has contributed to the preservation of dairy farms and the increase in livestock numbers. Over the past five years, 10 new farms have been built, housing 15,000 HEAD of cattle, equipped with modern digital systems and robotic animal care. Kuban continues to strengthen its position in livestock farming thanks to new technologies and government support.
