Crimea plans to increase egg production by 15% thanks to new investments

The ministry is also considering investments in dairy production, as Crimea currently meets less than 40% of its MILK needs . Plans include the creation of two large livestock farms, each with 2,000 dairy cows, to improve these indicators.

Kratyuk also noted that the republic is fully self-sufficient in pork and poultry, but only about 25% of its beef needs. To improve the beef situation, it is necessary to establish fattening facilities for raising cattle, bringing in animals from neighboring regions.

Earlier, Crimean Governor Sergei Aksyonov emphasized the need to increase local milk and MEAT production, which includes the construction of new facilities and the optimization of existing capacities.
