Lenders seek bankruptcy of the Luga Meat Processing Plant

If the COURT satisfies the claim, the property complex will be put up for auction for 1.5 billion rubles. The application was submitted to the Arbitration Court of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region , but the date of the preliminary meeting has not yet been set. At the Luga MEAT Processing Plant, which was part of the bankrupt agro-industrial holding Parnas-M, a monitoring procedure has already been introduced. The amount of debt on loans, taxes and wages amounted to 1.5 billion rubles.

In November 2022, the Novosibirsk corporation Transagro acquired the property complex on the outskirts of Luga, which planned to reconstruct the meat processing plant , but in July froze the project worth 500 million rubles. Viktor Feller, co-owner of AK Transagro LLC, argued that this was a forced measure, not related to the seizure of property as part of the bankruptcy of the Luzhsky feed mill (LKKZ), regarding it as illegal. The assets of the meat processing plant were withdrawn from the bankruptcy estate and sold at auction, however they still fell under interim measures.Luga Meat Processing Plant , founded in the early 1990s, was an element in the supply chain of the Rassvet livestock complex. Subsequently, all the enterprises of the holding went bankrupt and were transferred for debts to Rosselkhozbank.
