Krasnodar Territory increased livestock production by 1.5% in the first quarter

The number of cattle in January-March increased by 2% and reached 565.3 thousand heads.

According to the ministry, at the beginning of April, the number of poultry in farms of all categories amounted to 26.8 million heads, which is almost the same as last year.

The number of pigs in January-March increased by 15.7 thousand heads (2.4%) and amounted to 676.3 thousand. Agricultural enterprises and peasant farms ensured an increase of 2.4% and 3.3%, respectively.
