Coronavirus has led to a decrease in agricultural production in the Omsk region

Food production in the Omsk region, starting from a significant 2020, has been declining, Omsk statisticians have concluded. Omskstat published data for 2021 and conducted a comparative analysis with the indicators for 2020.

Thus, during the “coronavirus” year, the production of livestock products decreased in our region. Omsk farms began to produce 11.4% less eggs, 6.6% less MEAT and 1.5% less MILK. All this was the result of disruptions in the work of agricultural enterprises - namely, they are the leading suppliers of food to store shelves in the Omsk region.
