Thousands of tons of MILK were bought from cows
in the far north The regional Ministry of Agriculture has completed the selection process, and state support funds will be transferred to the accounts of 28 program participants from 11 southern, eastern and central regions of the region by the end of May.
Agricultural cooperatives will be reimbursed for part of the costs of 12.2 thousand tons of milk, 1.3 thousand tons of beef and 120 tons of pork purchased from villagers in the fourth quarter of last year and the first quarter of this year.
The Minister of Agriculture of the region, Ilya Vasilyev, reported that this year, as is traditional, several selections will be held in this direction - two more are planned for the summer and autumn. In total, 183 million rubles have been allocated from the regional budget for the implementation of the program. "By purchasing milk and MEAT
from personal farmsteads , cooperatives form commodity lots for sale or process raw materials in their own workshops, selling finished products with higher added value. In this way, they help villagers sell surplus agricultural products regularly and at a good price, and provide local residents with additional employment and income. The support measure has been in effect in the region for 16 years, and it is in demand. The main condition that cooperatives applying for subsidies must meet is to maintain the volume of agricultural product purchases at the level of last year,” the minister noted. Among the recipients of state support is the agricultural consumer supply and marketing cooperative Molochko in Krasnoturansky District. “We have been working since 2019 and annually receive regional subsidies for the purchase of milk. We use this money to develop the cooperative. Agricultural raw materials are supplied to us by residents of Krasnoturansky District and three villages in Minusinsky District - about 200 shareholders. The processing plant is in Minusinsk, where we produce natural drinking milk, sour cream,
cottage cheese , yoghurts, curd cheeses and other products. We supply them to the stores of the regional retail chain, to Tuva. Sales are established. We will continue to work and develop,” shared the chairperson of the SPSSK “Molochko” Nadezhda Miroshnichenko.
The agricultural cooperative “Molochko” is a participant in other programs of the Ministry of Agriculture of the region. In different years, it received grants for the purchase of machinery and equipment, bought milk tankers, refrigerators and a milk cooler.
In June, under the national project “Small and Medium Entrepreneurship”, agricultural cooperatives of the region will be able to take part in the selection for subsidies to reimburse them for part of the costs incurred in the current year, including the purchase of machinery, equipment, farm animals, purchase of agricultural products and wild plants from rural residents.
